Due to its robust construction, exceptional functional features like PID controllers, sequential control, timers and counters, ease of programming, reliable controlling capabilities and ease of hardware usage \u2013 this PLC is more than a special-purpose digital computer in industries as well as in other control-system areas. Different types of PLCs from vast number of manufacturers are available in today\u2019s market. Therefore, in the subsequent paragraphs, let us study about PLCs and their types.\r\n\r\nTypes Of PLC :\r\nProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are integrated as either single or modular units.\r\nAn integrated or Compact PLC\u00a0is built by several modules within a single case. Therefore, the I\/O capabilities are decided by the manufacturer, but not by the user. Some of the integrated PLCs allow to connect additional I\/Os to make them somewhat modular.\r\nA modular PLC\u00a0is built with several components that are plugged into a common rack or bus with extendable I\/O capabilities. It contains power supply module, CPU and other I\/O modules that are plugged together in the same rack, which are from same manufacturers or from other manufacturers. These modular PLCs come in different sizes with variable power supply, computing capabilities, I\/O connectivity, etc.\r\nModular PLCs are further divided into small, medium and large PLCs based on the program memory size and the number of I\/O features.\r\nSmall PLC\u00a0is a mini-sized PLC that is designed as compact and robust unit mounted or placed beside the equipment to be controlled. This type of PLC is used for replacing hard-wired relay logics, counters, timers, etc. This PLC I\/O module expandability is limited for one or two modules and it uses logic instruction list or relay ladder language as programming language.\r\nMedium-sized PLC\u00a0is mostly used PLC in industries which allows many plug-in modules that are mounted on backplane of the system. If an optimum temperature is maintained during rolling then the yarn winds on the paper cone suitably. The keypad consists of several push buttons and they the number depends on our requirement. The data is passed to the microcontroller through the keypad. A microcontroller (or MCU) is a computer-on-a-chip used to control any electronic device. The microcontroller is programmed already according to our objective. The pressure sensor senses the pressure in which the yarn is winding. The sensed pressure is amplified and sent to analog to digital converter. Then the converted digital signal is given to the microcontroller. The microcontroller is programmed such that if the pressure exceeds the microcontroller sends the corresponding signals to DAC.\r\n\r\nDAC is nothing but digital to analog converter in which the digital signal from the microcontroller is converted into corresponding analog signal. According to second law of thermodynamics, this process of cooling can only be performed with the aid of\r\nsome external work. Hence, the power supply is regularly required to drive a refrigerator. The substance which works in a refrigerator to extract heat from a cold body and to deliver it to a hot body i.e.to surrounding is called refrigerant. This paper is going to use Bjiker's theory of the social construction of technology to look at the Segway in its current stage of development and the technology behind it, relevant social groups, problems and solutions, future Segway predictions, interpretative flexibility, closure and stability and the final safe Segway (Bjiker, 1997).\r\n\r\ncontrol block diagram self balancing bike\r\n\r\nCHASIS \r\n\r\nChasis is made of wooden block and four wooden blocks are used to make the frame. To make chasis to be balanced,four wooden blocks of equal weights are used. It is engaged firmly with the help of stud . Stud is to connect the wooden block together with the nut. Wheels are attached to the middle of frame in order to withstand the load capacity. Handle is also made of same wood to which DPDT switch is fixed. \r\n\r\nMOTOR \r\n\r\nMotor is fixed with the chasis through screwed bolt and it is the main source of power with is to drive the vehicle. There are two motors , each for one wheel. Each motor is driven by a separate 12v battery. \r\n\r\nCHAIN DRIVE \r\n\r\nChain drives are used to transmit power between motor and wheel. Type of chain used is Power transmitting chains (Bush Roller Type). Chain drives are used because it has the following advantages: No slip Occupy less space High transmission efficiency Highly preferable for small shaft distance \r\n\r\nSTUD &amp;NUT \r\n\r\nA stud is a round bar threaded at both ends . Stud is a screwed rod to connect the wooden block together in order to make the chasis. \r\n\r\nPOWER SUPPLY \r\n\r\n20A Continous 12 V input power supply. \r\n\r\nDPDT SWITCH \r\n\r\nDouble Pole Double Throw (DPDT) switch. It is used to guide the direction of rotation of motor shaft. By operating the switch the direction of vehicle can be controlled. Connecting wires are used to connect switch with motor. \r\n\r\nWOOD \r\n\r\nThe type of wood used to make frame is \u201cCOUNTRY WOOD\u201d. Four wooden blocks are jointed with the help of stud and screwed with bolts.
