But solar energy is very large life in exhaustible source of energy. \u00a0The power from the sun intercepted by the earth is approximately 1.8 x 10\u00b9\u00b9 MW, which is many thousands of items larger than the percent consumption rate on the earth of all commercial energy sources.\r\nINTRODUCTION\r\n\r\nA solar water disalation can be also sized to fit the demand more accurately. \u00a0Although healing systems deal with extreme loads only a few days of the year, they will have to be large enough to meet those extremes.\u00a0\r\n\r\nA solar water heating system, on the other hand, will have roughly the same load day in any day out, except in unusual applications, the design load should be close to the normal daily load Without the problems of widely fluctuating demand. \u00a0Solar water disalation can be relatively cheaper and simpler than solar building water filter. Flat plate collector\r\nii. Storage tank.\r\niii. Circulation system\r\nFLAT PLATE COLLECTOR:\r\n\r\nThe plate collector consists\r\n\r\n1. Aluminium body\r\n2. Glass wool insulation\r\n3. Aluminium foil\r\n4. Copper fins\r\n5. Block chroms sheet and\r\n6. Tuffen glass\r\n\r\nThe aluminium body over the insulation and collective unit the glass wool insulation is placed on the bottom of aluminium body. The aluminium foil is placed on the insulation to reflect the solar radiation. The copper fins are used to circulate the water. \u00a0\r\n\r\nThey are welded with upper and lower header tubes. The block chrome sheets cover the copper fins. \u00a0They are used to absorb the solar radiation. The copper fins with block chrome sheet is called collective unit. The tuffen glass is used to transfer the solar energy to collective unit. \u00a0Hence it is called as transparent cover. \u00a0It covers the aluminium body.\r\n\r\nSTORAGE TANK:\r\n\r\nIt consists of\r\n1. Inner copper tank\r\n2. Insulation\r\n3. Outer M S tank\r\n\r\nThe inner copper tank is used to store the hot water. The storage capacity of the tank is 60 lit. The insulation is made of glass wool. \u00a0It is used to control the heat conduction. The outer tank is made of aluminium. \u00a0It is used to cover the storage tank.\r\n\r\nCIRCULATION SYSTEM:\r\n\r\nIt consists of\u00a0\r\n1. Cold water inlet\r\n2. Cold water outlet\r\n3. Mechanical type\r\n2. Hydraulic type\r\n3. Pneumatic type\r\n\r\nIn mechanical type, the screw rod is actuating the movable jaw. \u00a0One end is connected to the movable jaw and it passes through a fixed type nut. \u00a0When we rotate one end of the screw rod it will rotate in the nut and in turn moves the movable jaw. \u00a0Here the rotary motion is converted into reciprocating motion.\r\n\r\nIn Hydraulic type\u2019s one end of the piston rod is connected to the movable jaw and the piston slides in the cylinder. \u00a0Here the hydraulic fluid actuates the movement of the piston; this in turn actuates the movable jaw. \u00a0Here the principle movement is only a reciprocating movement.
