maglev, or magnetic suspension is a method by which an object is suspended with no support other than magnetic fields. Magnetic pressure is used to counteract the effects of the gravitational and any other accelerations.

An assembled magnetic levitation system mechanical project

Earnshaw's theorem proves that using only static ferromagnetism it is impossible to stably levitate against gravity, but servomechanisms, the use of diamagnetic materials, super conduction, or systems involving eddy currents permit this to occur.
In some cases the lifting force is provided by magnetic levitation, but there is a mechanical support bearing little load that provides stability. This is termed pseudolevitation. Magnetic levitation is used for maglev trains, magnetic bearings and for product display purposes.
Static stability means that any small displacement away from a stable equilibrium causes a net force to push it back to the equilibrium point.

Earnshaw's theorem proved conclusively that it is not possible to levitate stably using only static, macroscopic, paramagnetic fields. The forces acting on any paramagnetic object in any combination of gravitational, electrostatic, and magneto static fields will make the object's position unstable along at least one axis, and can be unstable along all axes. However, several possibilities exist to make levitation viable, for example, the use of electronic stabilization or diamagnetic materials (since relative magnetic permeability is less than one, it can be shown that diamagnetic materials are stable along at least one axis, and can be stable along all axes.

Dynamic stability occurs when the levitation system is able to damp out any vibration like motion that may occur.

For successful levitation and control of all 6 axes (3 spatial and 3 rotational) a combination of permanent magnets and electromagnets or diamantes or superconductors as well as attractive and repulsive fields can be used. From Earnshaw's theorem at least one stable axis must be present for the system to levitate successfully, but the other axes can be stabilized using ferromagnetism.
The primary ones used in maglev trains are servo-stabilized electromagnetic suspension (EMS), electrodynamics suspension (EDS), and experimentally, Inductrack.

If one moves a base made of a very good electrical conductor such as copper, aluminium or silver close to a magnet, an (eddy) current will be induced in the conductor that will oppose the changes in the field and create an opposite field that will repel the magnet (Lenz's law). At a sufficiently high rate of movement, a suspended magnet will levitate on the metal, or vice versa with suspended metal. Litz wire made of wire thinner than the skin depth for the frequencies seen by the metal works much more efficiently than solid conductors.

An especially technologically-interesting case of this comes when one uses a Halbach array instead of a single pole permanent magnet, as this almost doubles the field strength, which in turn almost doubles the strength of the eddy currents. The net effect is to more than triple the lift force. Using two opposed Halbach arrays increases the field even further.

Halbach arrays are also well-suited to magnetic levitation and stabilization of gyroscopes and electric motor and generator spindles.

More Resources /articles
Pedal Operated (Bicycle ) projects
Best Low Cost Mechanical Projects
Solar Energy , Solar Operated Projects
Robotic and automation projects List - Abstract , Report
New Mechanical Projects 2020 ( All Projects Post Index List )

Mechanical Project On Magnetic Levitation Download Report PDF
@type":"Person
{"@type":"ImageObject
//www.gunkrazy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Anassembledmagneticlevitationsystemmechanicalproject-300x268.jpg
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Organization
Learn Mechanical Engineering
@type":"ImageObject

link to Mechanical Project On Advance Antitheft System For Two Wheelers

Mechanical Project On Advance Antitheft System For Two Wheelers

Mechanical Project On Advance Antitheft System For Two Wheelers

In market these systems are available ranging from 1500/- onwards. Due to their cost many two wheeler owners don’t install the same thing in their vehicle. This project is about designing and manufacturing an antitheft system for two wheelers that should be sufficiently economical and advance as well! to be used by many users.
Introduction :
In its simple construction irrespective of the systems available in market this project has three different types of theft detection sensors namely, rider sensor, vibration sensor and battery removal sensor. There is a timer circuit based on advance AT98C52 Micro Controller that is connected to a IR receiver, a buzzer and an electromagnetic relay. The whole system gets its power from a separate battery of 9vDC. Thus this system works without vehicle’s own battery. The system can be made on and off using an IR Based remote.

The rider sensor senses any person trying to sit on the seat of two wheeler, the vibration sensor senses any vibrations those occurs in the vehicle body, and the battery removal sensor as the name suggests senses the removal of battery. Any theft event thus captured is passed on to the AT89C52 where it gets processed as an theft event and the same IC makes the buzzer and the relay on for the time set in the program flow. After the specific time is up the IC will stop the buzzer and the relay and thereafter retrigger the entire system to work in normal mode in the same session again an event of theft occurs the system runs the buzzer and the relay for longer time that in previous case. The mouse and key board that you are using browse this site were probably made through the plastic injection molding process .ever use plastic handled screwdrivers? That was made with injection molding.

Injection molding is often use in mass production and prototyping this is a relatively new way to manufacture parts. First machine were built in 1993’s .

So, What is injection molding? To put is basically, injection molding Is the process of forcing melted plastic in to a mold cavity .Once the plastic has cooled, the part can be ejected. It is useful when the parts are too complex are cost prohibitive to machine with this process many parts can made at the same time, out of the same mold.
See Also:GEAR TYPE INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE | Mechanical Project

What is injection moulding????
Injection moulding is the process of forcing melted plastic into a mould cavity once the plastic has coded, the part can be ejected. it is useful when the parts to complex of cost has coded, the part can be ejected. The clamping unit is what holds the mold under pressure during the injection and cooling. Basically it holds the two halves of the injection mould together.

2) Injection:-
At the beginning of which the plunger at upward position of feed hopper, and the granules of the molding compound are free to drop into the feed cylinder. The injection stroke start as the plunge moves from upward to downward forcing the accumulated granules into the heating cylinder, where they are converted into the heating cylinder. Where they are converted into the heating cylinder. Were they are converted into a fluide mass. The plunger not in cylinder but also displaces the fluide material at the nozzle and forces in into the closed mould cavity.

a) Dwelling:-
The dwelling phase consists of pause in the injection process. The molten plastic has been injected into mould and pressure is applied to make sure all of the mold cavities are filled.
Were the molded product are formed to their true shape and proper density. The pressure is maintained long enough for the product to cool and become hard, the heat of the plunger is than returned to the upward position ans new granulation are free to drop through the hoper into the feed cylinder.

4) Mould opening:-
The clamping unit opened which separates the two valves of mould after the pressure is relative both mould members is unlocked and he moveable member is moved away from the fixed member, carrying the finished product with it.

5) Ejection:-
An ejection rod and plate eject the finished piece from the mould. The unused spruces and runners can be recycled from use again in future moulds.

Molding by injection process is rapidly performed. The molding m/c may be operated at six shots per minute, although slower speed prevails since product molding product by injection. This machine is primarily determined by length of time required to cool and ser the material in the mould.

APPLICATION

1) It can manufacture plumbing plastic componanats such as coupler, socket, L- connector, T-connections.
2)also it can manufacture plastic components which is using in automobile industry.
3)For electrical &electronics components.
4)Small tins which are using cosmetics industry.
5)Stationary material & toys.
6)Plastic component used for household purpose i.e. brief cases- The list is endless.

Advantages Of Injection Moulding:-

1. These are best suited in mass products.
2. Prove to be economical by reducing the hand operation and fatigue on workers.
3. Semiskilled workers can be employed where as in hand molding skill and artisans are required.
4. Though some bikes which works on Diesel engines are available but very few.

There are some rare examples of diesel bikes. They are suitable for military use because they offer a long range and fit well in a military supply chain which contains diesel fuel, but not gas.

We do have diesel engines for two wheelers, but not in the scale the petrol engines are. There is only one type of bike with a diesel engine in India and that is the Royal Enfield Taurus.

diesel engine example royal enfield

Diesel engines have some disadvantages which come into account, when you want to put them into a motorbike. A naturally aspirated Diesel is heavier, weaker and less responsive than a gas engine. In order to get a diesel with comparable power output, you have to supercharge it. This makes the engine even more heavy, expensive and complex. Most diesel engines respond slower to the throttle than gas engines, which makes them less suitable for bikes. There are other disadvantages like a slow starting procedure and the requirement for quite a big battery for pre-heating the glow plugs.

The chief reasons for not using diesel engines in two-wheelers are as follows:
1) Compression Ratio:
Diesel engines are characterized by high compression ratio. The compression ratio of typical diesel engines are in the range of 15:1 to 20:1. Higher compression ratio means higher pressure in the cylinder. The reason for higher compression ratio of diesel engines are that diesel as a fuel typically ignites at a temperature range of 180-330 degrees centigrade (autoignition point) and in diesel engines the diesel fuel is ignited by subjecting air to a high pressure (due to which the temperature of the air increases to 430-650 degrees centigrade) and injecting fuel into the hot compressed air in the cylinder.
2) Sturdy engine block required:
Due to high compression ratios, which in turn means higher pressure the cylinder is subjected to, the engine block must be made stronger to withstand it. Hence, the diesel engines are more expensive than their petrol counterpart.
3) Weight:
Due to the above reasons, the weight of the engine (in turn, the weight of the bike) will increase.
4) Ancillaries:
Diesel engines require fuel pump, glow plugs, etc which all put together will increase the overall cost of the bike.
5) More Vibration:
Diesel engine has more vibrations than petrol engine because combustion in diesel engine is due to auto detonation.
6) Cost Consideration:
Cost of engine is higher compared to petrol engine.

And diesel engines are chiefly used where torque (pulling power) is a preferred rather than outright power (trucks, buses etc).

You only see diesel engines in the scale that you do now-a-days because of the advent of vastly higher injection pressures due to the Common rail and Unit injector technologies. Without very high injection pressure enabling well burning fine fuel mist, diesel engines are slothful and emit a lot of smoke. I don't know any manufacturers that have tried implementing this in a two-wheeler.

More Resources /articles
Automobile Trends , News articles , Notes
Automobile Engineering Parts and System Notes , Article
IC Engine Articles , Notes , Question and Answer
Mechanical Subjectwise Basic Concept Notes ,Articles
Why Diesel engines are Not used in Motor Bikes or Mopeds ?
@type":"Person
{"@type":"ImageObject
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Organization
Learn Mechanical Engineering
@type":"ImageObject

link to Automobile Clutch – Clutch Types, Principle, Types Of Clutches

Automobile Clutch – Clutch Types, Principle, Types Of Clutches

Introduction To Clutch :

In this article, we will see brief information about what is transmission, function, and requirement of clutches, types of clutches, application, and their diagrams.
Introduction to Transmission System :
The transmission system is the system utilizing which power developed by the engine is transmitted to road wheels to propel the vehicle. In automobiles, the power is developed by the engine which is used to turn wheels. Therefore, the engine is to be connected to the transmission systems for transmitting power to wheels. Also, there should be a system utilizing which engine could be engaged and disengaged with the transmission system smoothly and without shock so that the vehicle mechanism is not damaged and passengers do not feel inconvenience. A clutch is employed in automobiles for this purpose.

The engines employed in automobiles are of very high speed. Hence, a speed reduction is necessary to reduce the speed to moderate level as well as to get the required high torque while moving from rest. For this purpose, a gearbox is employed in automobiles.
The figure shows the general arrangement of a power transmission system of an automobile.
The motion of the crankshaft is transmitted to the gearbox through the clutch. The gearbox consists of a set of gears to change the speed according to the requirement. The motion is then transmitted to the propeller shaft from the gearbox through a universal joint. The purpose of the universal joint is to connect two shafts at an angle for power transmission.
The power is transmitted to the differential unit through another universal joint. Finally, the power is transmitted from the differential to wheels through the rear end. The differential unit is used to provide the relative motion between two-run wheels while the vehicle is taking a turn.

power transmission of car
Introduction To Clutches :

A Clutch is a mechanism used to connect or disconnect the engine from the rest of the transmission elements. It is located between the engine and gearbox.
During normal running and stationary position, it is always in the engaged condition. The clutch is disengaged when the driver processes the clutch pedal. The clutch is disengaged for starting, changing gears, stopping and idling.
When the clutch is engaged, the engine will be connected to the transmission, and power flows from engine to rear wheels through a transmission system.
When 'the clutch is disengaged by pressing the clutch pedal, the engine will be disengaged from the transmission. Thus, the power does not flow to rear wheels while the engine is still running.

Clutch Parts

Principles of Operation of Friction Clutch

Principle of friction clutch

The clutch works on the principle of friction. In Figure, the driving shaft A with flange C is rotating at 'N' rpm, and shaft B with the flange 0 is keyed to the driven shaft which is in stationary position when the clutch is not engaged.
Now, an external force is applied to the flange D so that it comes in contact with flange C.
As soon as the contact is made, they are united due to friction between them and the flange D starts rotating with flange C. The rotational speed of flange D depends on the friction between surfaces C and D which in turn proportional to the external force applied.

Functions of a Clutch:

The torque developed b the engine at the starting speed is very low. Therefore, it is not possible to start the engine under load. This requires that the transmission system should provide a means of connecting and disconnecting the engine from the rest of the transmission system. Such an operation must be smooth and without shock to the occupants of the vehicle.

Thus the two main functions of a clutch are:

1. To engage and disengage the transmission from engine to the remaining parts of the transmission. (To allow the engine to be separated from rest of the transmission system) This is required when:

(a) Starting and running the engine at a sufficiently high speed lo generate sufficient power necessary for moving the vehicle from rest.
(b) Shifting the gears so that damage to gear teeth can be avoided.
(c) Stopping the vehicle after applying brakes.

2. The second function of the clutch is to allow the engine to take up the driving load of the vehicle gradually and without shock.
Requirements of clutch:
The main requirements of a clutch are as follows:

It should be able to transmit the maximum torque of the engine.
It should engage gradually to avoid sudden jerks.
It should be able to dissipate a large amount of heat generated during clutch operation.
It should be dynamically balanced, particularly in the case of high-speed engine clutches.
It should have a suitable mechanism to damp vibrations and to eliminate noise produced during power transmission.
It should be as small as possible so that it will occupy minimum space.
It should be easy to operate requiring as little exertion as possible on the part of the driver.
It should be made as light as possible so that it will continue to rotate for any length of time after the clutch has been disengaged.
It must be trouble-free and have longer life.
It must be easy to inspect, adjust, and repair.

Clutch Friction Lining material and their Necessity :
The materials for clutch lining are:

1. The cable assembly uses an inner multi-strand steel-wire core and an outer cable sheath of a spiral wound flexible sleeve normally with nylon end-pieces. A screw adjustment is incorporated at either the pedal or the bell-housing end to alter the length of the outer cable sleeve, for increasing or decreasing the free-play of the inner cable. From the cable the leverage is relayed through a pressed steel release-fork lever to the thrust bearing. Aspherical headed bolt pivots the lever end. The outer end of the lever extends outside the bell-housing and is connected to the inner cable. When the clutch is disengaged, the inner cable is subjected to tension and the outer sleeve into compression. The fork-lever then tilts about its pivot forcing the release bearing against the release-fingers to disengage the drive.

cable operated clutch mechanism

Hydraulic Operated Clutch Mechanism-

A hydraulically operated clutch mechanism is shown in the figure. The mechanism consists of master and slave cylinders. The cylinders are connected by hydraulic lines. When the clutch pedal is pressed the fluid under pressure from the master cylinder reaches the slave cylinder which is mounted on the clutch itself. The fluid under pressure actuates the slave cylinder push rod which further operates the clutch release fork to disengage the clutch. In India, this type of clutch has been used in Standard 20, Swaraj Mazda, and Eicher Mitsubishi's vehicles.

hydraulic operated single plate clutch

Mechanical Clutch Linkage:

The mechanical clutch linkage is shown in the fig. when the clutch pedal is pressed it pivots on the pivot point and it moves the rod further. This rod turns the cross shaft, which moves the fork lever and actuates the release bearing. This movement is further conveyed to the clutch levers to disengage the clutch. Generally mechanical leverage from 10:1 to 12:1 is employed that would require a paddle force of about 100-120 N when using travel of 75mm.

simple mechanical clutch operation

Types Of Clutches are explained :
Multi-Plate (Dry) Clutch:
It is the extension of a single plate clutch. It consists of several clutch (friction) as well as pressure plates. As the number of plates increased, the friction surfaces also increase. The increase in the number of friction surfaces increases the capacity of the clutch to transmit torque. The plates are alternately fitted to the engine shaft and gearbox shaft. They are firmly pressed by strong coil springs and assembled in a cover assembly. Each alternate plate has inner and outer splines, this each of the alternate plate slides on the splines on the pressure plate.

multi-plate dry clutch

Working of Multi-Plate Clutch:

The pressure plates are used to apply the pressure on friction plates and the inside diameter of the pressure plate is splined while making the inside diameter splined, the rotating motion of the pressure plate is restricted. The pressure plate moves on the driven shaft axially. When we apply the pedal the pressure plates and the friction plates come in contact with each other and the speed or power is transmitted from the engine shaft to the transmission shaft.

Applications Of Multi-Plate Clutch :

This type of clutch is used in Scooters and Motor Cycles, where space availability is limited. Besides, this finds the application in some Heavy Transport Vehicles and Racing Cars where high torque is to be transmitted.
Single plate Clutch :
A single disc or plate clutch as shown in the figure consists of a clutch plate whose sides are faced with the friction material (usually ferrodo). It is mounted on the hub which is free to move axially along the splines of the driven shaft. The pressure plate is mounted inside the clutch body which is bolted to the flywheel. Both the pressure plate and the flywheel rotate with the engine crankshaft or the driving shaft. The pressure plate pushes the clutch plate towards the flywheel by a set of strong spring which is arranged radially inside the body. The three levers (also known as release levers or fingers) are carried on the pivots suspended from the case of the body. These are arranged in such a manner so that the pressure plate moves away from the flywheel by the inward movement of a thrust bearing. The bearing is mounted upon the forked shaft and moves forward when the clutch pedal is pressed.

Necessity of Single plate clutch
1) To transmit a large amount of torque single plate clutch required
2) Response time to operate is very less compared to the multi-plate clutch.
3) It generates low heat so no need of cooling media required.
4) It should be dynamically balanced and easy to operate.

single plate clutch diagram

Working:

Disengaging the clutch:

When the clutch pedal is pressed down, it’s linkage forces the thrust bearing to move towards the flywheels and pressing the pressure plate away from the flywheel thereby the compression springs are compressed. This action removes the pressure from the clutch plate and the driving shaft comes to a stationary position.

Engaging the clutch:

On the other hand when the foot is taken off from the clutch pedal, the thrust bearing moves back by levers this action allows the springs to extend, and thus pressure plate pushes the clutch plate back towards the flywheel. The clutch is engaged and power is transmitted from engine to gearbox.

Application of Single plate clutch:

1. Most commonly used in cars.
2. Used in Light commercial vehicles and heavy transport vehicles.
Diaphragm clutch:
Clutch remains usually in the engaged condition. It is required to depress the clutch pedal to disengage the clutch. When a driver or an operator drives a vehicle he is required to engage clutch by depressing clutch pedal. As the driver depresses the clutch pedal, the effort applied gets transmitted either through level or cable to clutch release fork. The fork pushes clutch release bearing towards the engine side due to which clutch release levels shown in figure get displaced getting pressure plate in the backward direction. This action creates clearance between drive and driven members resulting in disengagement of the clutch. As the driver leaves the clutch pedal it returns to its original position due to which pressure plate put thrust on the clutch plate from one side and flywheel on the other. This is how the clutch gets engaged.

diaphragm clutch
Centrifugal clutch

When the engine is started, the speed of the driving shaft is less, so the centrifugal force is also less. Therefore, shoes (flyweights) do not move outwards and torque is not transmitted to the rear wheel. As the speed of the engine increases, the centrifugal force also increases.
At certain engine speed, the shoes fly off outwards due to increased centrifugal force and they come in contact with the driven member. Now both the driving and driven members rotate together and the clutch is said to be engaged.
Thus the engine torque is transmitted to the rear wheel.
When the engine speed decreases, the centrifugal force also decreases. Now the shoes return to their original position due to spring force which results in a disengagement of the clutch and torque is not transmitted to the rear wheel.

centrifugal clutch diagram

Application of Centrifugal Clutch :

1. Used in Automatic transmission vehicles like mopeds and two-wheelers without gear.
2. Used in semi-automatic transmission vehicles like some modern cars.
Cone Clutch:
Cone clutch consists of friction surfaces in the form of a cone. The engine shaft consists of the female cone. The male cone is mounted on the splined clutch shaft. It has friction surfaces on the conical portion. The male cone can slide on the clutch shaft. Hen the clutch is engaged the friction surfaces of the male cone are in contact with that of the female cone due to force of the spring. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the male cone slides against the spring force, and the clutch is disengaged.

cone clutch types of clutches

The only advantage of the cone clutch is that the normal force acting on the friction surfaces is greater than the axial force, as compared to the single-plate clutch in which the normal force acting on the friction surfaces is equal to the axial force. The disadvantage in the cone clutch is that if the angle of the cone is made smaller than 200 the male cone tends to bind in the female cone and it becomes difficult to disengage the clutch. Cone clutches are generally now only used in low peripheral speed applications although they were once common in automobiles and other combustion engine transmissions. They are usually now confined to very specialist transmissions in racing, rallying, or in extreme off-road vehicles, although they are common in powerboats. Small cone clutches are used in synchronizer mechanisms in manual transmissions.
Dog & Spline Clutch:

This type of clutch is used to lock two shafts together or to lock a gear to a shaft. It consists of a sleeve having two sets of internal splines. It slides on a splined shaft with the smallest diameter splines. The bigger diameter splines match with the external dog clutch teeth on the driving shaft. When the sleeve is made to slide on the splined shaft, its teeth match with the dog clutch teeth of the driving shaft. Thus the sleeve turns the splined shaft with the driving shaft.
The clutch is said to be engaged. To disengage the clutch, the sleeve is moved back on the splined shaft to have no contact with the driving shaft. This type of clutch does not tend to slip. The driven shaft revolves exactly at the same speed of the driving shaft, as soon as the clutch is engaged. This is also known as a positive clutch.

Reference :

https://www.howacarworks.com/basics/how-a-car-clutch-works

More Resources /articles
Automobile Engineering Parts and System Notes , Article
Automobile Trends , News articles , Notes
Theory of Machine Article , Notes , Question and Answer
Mechanical Subjectwise Basic Concept Notes ,Articles
Automobile Clutch – Clutch Types, Principle, Types Of Clutches
@type":"Person
{"@type":"ImageObject
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Organization
Learn Mechanical Engineering
@type":"ImageObject

link to Design & Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System-Mechanical Project

Design & Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System-Mechanical Project

Design and Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System-Mechanical Project

The rotary joints effectively allow air to be channelled to the tyres without the tangling of hoses. With the recent oil price hikes and growing concern of environmental issues, this system addresses a potential improvement in gas mileage; tyre wear reduction; and an increase in handling and tyre performance in diverse conditions.

tyre inflation system model mechanical project

The most important factors in tire care are:

  Proper Inflation Pressure
  Proper Vehicle Loading
  Proper Tire Wear
  Regular Inspection
  Good Driving Habits
  Vehicle Condition

Introduction To Tyre Inflation System:
Seminar On Self inflating tyres -PPT and Report Download-

TYRE INFLATION & DEFLATION SYSTEM FOR FOUR WHEELER

LAYOUT OF TYRE INFLATION SYSTEM:

1. SOLENOID VALVES ( IN FUTURE)

2/2 air solenoid valves are direct acting solenoid valves and do not require a minimum operating differential pressure. As shown below when the coil is energized (right diagram), it lifts the solenoid plunger, which normally rests on the valve seat and lifts it to open the main valve orifice. When the coil is de-energized (right diagram), the spring force the plunger return to the valve seat to close the valve orifice.

3. PRESSURE SENSOR ( IN FUTURE)

A pressure sensor measures pressure, typically of gases or liquids. Pressure is an expression of the force required to stop a fluid from expanding, and is usually stated in terms of force per unit area. A pressure sensor usually acts as a transducer; it generates a signal as a function of the pressure imposed. For the purposes of this article, such a signal is electrical.

Pressure sensors are used for control and monitoring in thousands of everyday applications. Pressure sensors can also be used to indirectly measure other variables such as fluid/gas flow, speed, water level, and altitude. Pressure sensors can alternatively be called pressure transducers, pressure transmitters, pressure senders, pressure indicators and piezometers, manometers, among other names.

Pressure sensors can vary drastically in technology, design, performance, application suitability and cost. A conservative estimate would be that there may be over 50 technologies and at least 300 companies making pressure sensors worldwide.

4. ROTARY JOINT

We are designing this device for common passenger vehicles, and the main challenge is the presence of the axle shaft that runs straight into the centre of the wheel forcing us to find an alternative method of routing the air. Our proposed solution to this challenge is to place rotary joint that has one half spinning with the drive axle hub and the other half stationary with the spindle. Within this rotary joint will be an air chamber that will allow air to pass from the stationary half of the joint into the half that is rotating.

5. PRESSURE SWITCH

A pressure switch is a form of switch that makes electrical contact when a certain set pressure has been reached on its input. This is used to provide on/off switching from a pneumatic or hydraulic source. The switch may be designed to make contact either on pressure rise or on pressure fall

6. CAR BATTERY 12 V

An automotive battery is a type of rechargeable battery that supplies electric energy to an automobile. Usually this refers to an SLI battery (starting, lighting, ignition) to power the starter motor, the lights, and the ignition system of a vehicle’s engine.

Working Model Assembly:

Design and Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System

More Resources /articles
Renewable Energy Sources , Power Generation Projects List - Abstract
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Projects List - Abstract , Report Download
Automobile Engineering Projects List - Abstract , Report
Pneumatic or Air operated projects
Sheet Metal Fabrication Projects
New Mechanical Projects 2020 ( All Projects Post Index List )

Design & Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System-Mechanical Project
@type":"Person
{"@type":"ImageObject
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Organization
Learn Mechanical Engineering
@type":"ImageObject

« PREV Page 1 … Page 306 Page 307 Page 308 Page 309 Page 310 … Page 338 NEXT »

About Us

LearnMech.Com is a Mechanical Project-oriented platform run by Sachin Thorat who is a B-Tech Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
