Need to improve the performance of compressor by several methods. The main aim of the project is to make tri-cylinder air compressor to generate large amount of air with less power and low vibration. In tri cylinder air compressor the three cylinders are kept at 120 degree to each other. The three cylinders are placed radically and equally apart such that the cylinder opening tends to meet on a common triangular compression chamber. The three pistons are made to compress air simultaneously on to common tri angular chamber over shorter stroke and the isothermal efficiency will be better than single cylinder with one piston.\r\n\r\nThe motor is connected to the chain drive to drive the three crank shaft which is used to move the piston. If space is smaller the pressure will be more and bigger the lower. If compressor is made to work at 1400 rpm air taken will be147.18 \u00d7 1400 = 206052 litters at 7 atmospheres pressure .The advantage with triangular compressor will be low vibration, smaller unit giving more output and so cheaper to make, ideal for air compressor is Air conditioning and Refrigeration, Vacuum pumps and general purpose usage.\r\nIntroduction\r\nThe compressor is mechanical equipment which is used to increase the pressure with the help of the piston.\r\n\r\nTypes of air compressor\r\n\r\nAccording to the design and principle of operation\r\n\r\n1. Reciprocating compressor\r\n\r\n2. Rotary screw compressor\r\n\r\n3. Turbo compressor\r\nPositive displacement\r\nPositive-displacement air compressors are the type of compressor executed by forcing air into a chamber whose volume is decreased to compress the air. Piston-type air compressors use this principle by pumping air into an air chamber through the use of the same motion of pistons. This type of compressor uses one-way valves to guide air into a chamber, where the air is compressed. Rotary screw compressors also utilizespositive-displacement compression by matching two helical screws that, when turned, guide air into a chamber, whose volume is increased as the screws turn. Vane compressors use a slotted rotor with varied blade placement to guide air into a chamber and compress the volume. This type of Compressor delivers a fixed volume of air at high pressures. Generally the cooling is some form of air- or water-cooling, although some (particularly rotary type) compressors may be cooled by oil (that is then in turn air- or water-cooled).and the atmospheric changes also included during cooling of compressors.\r\nTri-cylinder air compressor\r\nWe need to improve the performance of compressor by several methods. Such as designs shape and construction are known and screw type compressor is the latest design as on date. The power required to compressor air to a known pressure is given in the attached tables. The main aim if this compressor is to generate large amount of air compared with existing compressor with less power input and with low vibration. In order to reduce the waste, we planned to create a can\/bottle crusher that will reduce the volume of aluminum cans\/plastic bottles by approximately seventy percent by which transportation volume will increase and transportation cost will reduce. Can crushers are primarily used to save space and for recycling.\r\n\r\nAlso the purpose of this project is to understand the fundamental knowledge of design and mechanism by using fulcrum system and a simple mechanism property. A mechanical can\/bottle crusher machine is basically one of the most aid able machines. It helps to reduce the pollution of the environment. Thus helps to create a better place to live in, apart from that, this can\/bottle crusher can actually be the future mode of recycles apart from the recycle bins. In this, link 1 is fixed and link 2 which is a crank is rotating about fixed link 1 and converts this rotary motion into the reciprocating motion of slider (corresponds to the link 4) by means of connecting rod which corresponds to the link 3. Thus human efforts can be reduced as well as time also, because sorting system is installed there to separate the bottles and cans to reduce the human fatigue. They are almost always adjusted too tight. Even if the chain is lubricated properly and the rear wheel is aligned correctly, running a chain with too little slack leads to pre-mature wear of the chain and sprockets, suspension binding, and can even result in damage to the bearings supporting the countershaft and sprocket carrier in the rear hub.\r\n\r\nINTRODUCTION\r\n\r\nAt the other extreme, running the chain with too much slack can create excessive drive train lash. This makes smooth throttle transitions and shifting more difficult, adds higher shock loads to the rear hub and gears in the transmission, and, in extreme cases, can actually \u201csaw\u201d into the swing arm or frame. A mal-adjusted chain is also more prone to failure, which could leave you stranded. In extreme cases, it could wrap around the rear axle and sprocket and lock the rear wheel, leading to a crash. Which begs the question: Since the consequences of an improperly maintained chain can be so costly, why don\u2019t more riders ensure that their chains are adjusted correctly? We suspect the main reason for chain problems is the result of owners not taking the time to thoroughly inspect their drive train or understand the procedure behind properly adjusting the chain on their bike. The supporting arm is fixed on the base, in the supporting arm pivot; handle and moving arrangements are fixed. The end of the moving arrangement the male die is fixed. The female die is fixed below the male die in the base. We place the sheet metal between the male die and female die, and then press the handle. The handle comes down then the pivot is pressing the moving arrangement, then the moving arrangement with male die comes down. During this movement the sheet metal bended at a required shape for our need. The shape of the bending is changing the different die arrangements. This equipment is easily operateable to less skilled labors also.
